SUHNER UAD 30-RF - Industrial quality milling and grinding router motor

Due to the large-sized double ball bearings in a stable, thick-walled steel motor flange, and the generously dimensioned fan, this unit comfortably meets its challenges without overheating. This SUHNER milling motor is ideal for working with plastics, foams, woods, compsites and metals. It is also extremely quiet (at 9000 rev / min only 72dB).

    Forget the last question, what I really meant to ask is will it safely take an ER20?

    The Suhner 1kW and 1.5kW routers use the same collets. These are offered inn sizes up to 10mm. They are not ER20 compatible.

    Is the Suhner UAD 30-RF an exact replacement to the Kress 1050 FME-1

    The Suhner Router has the same 43mm diameter collar as the Kress, so fits in same holder and can be considered a direct replacement. The Suhner has slightly better performance in terms of stronger bearings, better power output, and a wider RPM range. Note however that the two routers use different collets/nuts.
